First, the people making the allegations against Judge Kavanaugh have been in support of an investigation from the start. was only one of the many ways that they have tried to ram Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmation through with minimal vetting. But when Judge Kavanaugh appeared, they were his loyal courtiers, apologizing profusely and raging about the “unethical sham” Democrats were perpetrating. Two, she had nothing to gain by telling her story, while Judge Kavanaugh had everything to gain by contesting it. Three, we know that Judge Kavanaugh has problems telling the truth.
